New low viscosity oil keep the M9220 brakes’ bite point consistent in all trail and weather conditions, and new brake pads eliminate rattling noise caused by vibration. Increased power and consistency coupled with the peace of silence give riders pin-point control on rough trails. The BL-M9220 brake lever is designed with evolved ergonomics and the human hand in mind, delivering a powerful pull with consistent lever feel and modulation for ultimate control. A new closer pivot point follows the natural arc of your finger, while the 5-degree upswept lever blade and dialed reach adjust put the rider in a natural position to attack technical sections of trail. Redesigned SERVO WAVE optimizes the power curve without friction, while new low viscosity mineral oil keeps power consistent over all temperatures and terrain.

FEATURES

Consistent Brake Control: All-new low viscosity mineral oil creates a reliable and strong power curve in all temperatures and terrains.

Caliper Customization: Pair the BL-M9220 with M9220 Enduro calipers for a lightweight, powerful set-up.

Durability: BL-M9220’s alloy lever blade utilizes Shimano’s tried and true forging process.

Evolved Ergonomics: New lever shapes and pivot points and improved reach adjust make the BL-M9220 a perfect fit for all riders.

Tidy Cable Routing: Updated cable routing on the BL-M9220 offers a clean aesthetic.

Updated Seals and Low Viscosity Oil: Reliable bite point in all temperatures and trail conditions.

Predictable Power: DH-capable power curve that’s been perfected for enduro racing.

Heat Dissipation: Resin or metal pads, finned or non-finned, allow riders to tune their precise brake feel (when paired with Shimano rotors).

Rattle-free: Revised pad and oval mount eliminate unnecessary noise.

SPECIFICATIONS
Brake Type: Hydraulic Disc
Piston: 4
Recommended Pads: P03A-RF Resin, P04C-MF Metal, D03S-RX Resin, D02S-MX Metal
Lever Size: 2 Finger
Brake Hose: SM-BH90-SS
Reach Adjust: Tool
Compatible Shifter Mount: I-SPEC EV & Clamp Band
Oil: Shimano Low Viscosity

SKUs
Product Code: IM92201JLFPNA100 (Front) 1000mm Hose | SM-BH90-SBM Pads
Product Code: IM92201JRRXNA170 (Rear) 1700mm Hose | SM-BH90-SBM Pads
Model Numbers: BL-M9220 / BR-M9220
